Our Service

Our service is an element of our organization that we take great pride in. It gives us an opportunity to come together as a sisterhood and give back to our community and a cause that means so much to us. Throughout the year, we work hard to give back to our local community and Ronald McDonald House Charities through our house visits and philanthropy events.

Run for Ronald

Run for Ronald is our annual Fall philanthropy event. It is a 5k run hosted on campus featuring games, raffles, prizes and much more. Our sisters volunteer in preparation leading up to the event and the day of to be sure our participants have fun and learn about Ronald McDonald House Charities. Run for Ronald open to the Sonoma State and Rohnert Park communities and is a positive and fun, family friendly event.

Campus Speakers hosted by Alpha Delta Pi

For the second year in a row, Alpha Delta Pi has hosted a campus speaker for the Sonoma State community focusing on relevant issues to the community. In 2016 we were the first Greek organization on Sonoma State's campus to host a campus speaker when we hosted Ross Szabo's talk entitled "Mixed Drinks, Mixed Emotions: Alchohol Abuse and Mental Health". This year we continued the tradition and hosted speaker and two term Alpha Delta Pi Grand Council President, Dr. Tammie S. Pinkston where she spoke on the Alpha Delta Pi and Sigma Phi Epsilon partnered initiative "Live Your Oath" and the importance of bringing attention to and ending sexual assault on college campuses.

Roses for Ronald

Roses for Ronald is our newly minted Spring philanthropy event where we raise money for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Sisters volunteer to table at a booth in Seawolf Plaza in the weeks leading up to Valentines Day, selling roses to be delivered to members of the Sonoma State community.
